| Build this exciting robot and watch it follow a black line drawn on white paper. The robot sees with a photo interrupter which projects and receives infra red rays. Whilst black will absorb the infra red rays the white will reflect them. In this way the Line Tracer distinguishes between the black and white areas by projecting the rays from the photo interrupter. The robot comes with a 48 page manual that guides you through the mechanical construction stages of the unit. Added to that a full explanation is given about each electrical component used, and tips on how to get more from them. You will learn about electrolyte capacitors, explanation of the circuit is given, explaining how it works and why certain components were used.
